Purpose
This role involves working in the Polishing Department, where you will be part of a team of dedicated employees striving for excellence on behalf of our clients.
Why is the work important?
This position is crucial in many ways. There needs to be an attention to detail making sure a quality piece of jewelry is achieved allowing for first time run and minimal reworks. This area is also responsible for keeping the workflow going for other departments so that there are no gaps in manufacturing.
What is accomplished by performing these tasks?

- To maintain on-time delivery on a consistent basis.
Goals
- Support all activities in Polishing Department:
- Polish Brass, Silver and Gold parts using a variety of polishing wheels, abrasives, and compounds.
- Inspect finished work to ensure visual quality.
- Use various polishing techniques to attain mirror like finishes.
- Follow safety rules.
- Personally responsible for high quality output
- Cross train to other departments
Key Requirements
- Speak, read and write English fluently.
- Some familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery
- Able to develop effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to learn and judge acceptable quality parameters quickly.
- Rudimentary computer literacy. Able to work within our manufacturing software program.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Ability to learn from and take ownership of mistakes.
- Regular attendance.
- Compliance with the Company Policy Manual’s terms and conditions; signed at hire.
- Ability to build and repair trust.
Education Requirements
High school graduate or GED

Compensation
Compensation $20-$25 an hour depending on ability and experience.
